As things get closer and closer to the end of the competitive season, the tension becomes thicker, and the number of teams gets thinner. Throughout these games, I personally was on the edge of my seat to see to outcomes. Would we go further? Would we win? Can we reach the finals? Now, I ask you, shall we take a look?
OVERWATCH
Last week our Overwatch team got a win in the lower bracket semi-finals, unfortunately this week they didn’t quite have the momentum to get another win, so unluckily for us, we’ve been eliminated. But… You can’t say they didn’t persevere, nor made it far! Because they did! All the way to the second round of semi-finals. That’s good in my books! They did well, so well done to our players for getting this far!
VALORANT
Unfortunately, a similar story for our Valorant team. The game was quite close. 13-11, but they couldn’t quite get the edge over their opponents, leaving them just short of making it to the quarter finals. As a result, they too have been eliminated. Top 16 is very impressive though, for people like me top 16 is just a dream, but for our players? That’s a reality. Well done to all of them!
ROCKET LEAGUE
Now. Last time our Opens team for Rocket League got eliminated, which was our first devastating loss before this week’s double elimination. As a result of this, I am happy to announce that our Rocket League Nationals team has made it all the way to the bracket finals! We wont know the results of that for over a month, so check back towards the end of May to find out if our players went the distance! Incredible work from our players!
EASTER’S HERE!
Okay, well, Easter’s actually just a few days away, but I won’t be making any posts until after Easter. So, happy Easter! From all of us here at Resilience, we wish you nothing but the best, including delicious chocolate eggs and sunny days ahead. This blog might be quiet for quite sometime, as there won’t be much to update you on for a while. But it’ll be back soon enough! Until then, take care and see you next time!
